Pharmacy Technicians can provide a variety of skills to a pharmacy. Job duties include, but are not limited to, compounding solutions, ointments and creams, preparing IV mixtures, medication dispensing, purchasing and billing, and data entry. Graduates of the pharmacy technician program are prepared for careers in the following settings: hospital, retail, home health, long-term care, sales representative, mail-order, nuclear, and military.
